Greatest Weekend Ever | Fort Worth Lifestyle Photographer
I have been in love with Pinkletoes forever. Okay, maybe not forever, but definitely a really long time. Since I started my business 4 years ago, I have tried over and over again to get into one of her coveted workshops. They always filled up super fast or were out of the question due to one financial issue or another. So, late last year I made up my mind that the next time they were open for registration, I was booking. Period. And I kinda (no seriously) harassed Michele a ton about when dates would be released. The glorious day came and bam, I registered within 30 minutes of the release. And then I had the tedious task of waiting months until the workshop.
The workshop weekend came and it was way more than I could have ever imagined. I have friends that have attended a Pinkletoes workshop before and they raved about it. I read every review and blog circle possible. I knew it was going to be nothing short of amazing. My standards were set really, really high. Let me just say that Michele blew my expectations out of the water and her workshop was all I hoped it would be and so much more. She has ruined me from ever taking another workshop again. Seriously.
I would be hard pressed to pick my favorite part of the weekend. We stayed at Michele’s home in Austin which made it so super intimate. We talked business, laughed, worked, laughed, had a lesson on swimming pool selfies (!), laughed, ate, talked more, edited, dreamed up our future reunion group tshirt (Hey, girl) and laughed some more. Yes, the weekend at Pinkletoes was so super fun. I made wonderful new friends, laughed until my sides hurt and definitely didn’t want to leave. But I also had the most intense learning experience. I was continually inspired by an amazing artist. I had several lightbulb moments. And I was challenged to turn my dreams about my business into a reality.
Was the weekend overwhelming? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Hands down the best money I have put into my business so far. Will I do it again in the future? You bet! If you ever have the opportunity to attend a Pinkletoes workshop, I would highly recommend it. Don’t hesitate, just do it. And you can thank me later:)
And here are just s FEW of the iPhone pics taken behind the scenes of this amazing weekend:)
